Successful Grand Reopening of Rincon Gardens Helps to Revitalize a Neighborhood

ROEM Builders, Inc. was selected as the General Contractor for the Housing Authority of Santa Clara County on this $17M interior/exterior renovation project. With the completion of a successful renovation, ROEM Builders, Inc. celebrated the grand reopening of Rincon Gardens on March 1, 2010.

In a statement to ROEM Builders, Inc., Alex Sanchez, Executive Director of the Housing Authority of Santa Clara County said, “Thank you for the great job at Rincon. The complex looks beautiful inside and out. I know ROEM is proud of its attention to detail and a desire to make the affordable housing developments in Silicon Valley compete with market rate units. Rincon Gardens was a fine example of your commitment to quality. Again, thank you!”

The exterior shell of the three story structure was removed and replaced with new roofing, siding, windows and doors. Interior work included extensive plumbing and electrical updates and the replacement of HVAC systems along with new cabinets, countertops, flooring and fixtures. Additional exterior work included the removal of 50 trees along with hardscape and softscape replacements throughout the 4.3 acre site. Onsite management required ROEM Builders, Inc.’s coordination of 20 subcontractors while working on the facility.
