Jonathan Emami makes 40 under 40 list
Jonathan Emami, 24, is vice president of ROEM Development Corp. He earned a bachelor's degree from San Jose State University and went to work for his father's company. Robert Emami is a leading Silicon Valley developer and president of ROEM Corp. After eight months of mostly running job sites, Jonathan was anxious to get back to the office; his father suggested in order to do so, he should get a master's degree.
Jonathan Emami earned a master's in construction management from USC and came back to the family company.
Emami also sits on several boards, including the Santa Clara County Housing Trust board and the California Housing Partnership board, the only statewide advocate for affordable housing to which he was appointed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger.
In his spare time, Emami enjoys all variety of outdoor sports and spending time with his family and a few close friends.
